It seemed fitting for our wedding location to be Los Angeles as that is where we found each other and fell in love. We have made a list of some of our favorite places about Los Angeles. Many of them are the places we spent long hours getting to know each other or were fast breaks from our busy routines. But all them host some of our happiest memories. We hope that our friends visiting from out of town can experience a little of our lives in Los Angeles and we hope our locals may find something new. But most of all we hope you can make some happy memories of your own. Who knows? You just may bump into us at one of these locations any given day when the wedding is near.

The Standard
Downtown Los Angeles

Los Angeles CA 90071
(213) 892-8080
Our favorite home away from home when staying in Los Angeles. Discount pricing available through the wedding. Scenic drinks, yummy snacks, and swimming on the roof a big plus. Don't forget, no swimming until 30 minutes after snacks.

Alegria on Sunset

Great homemade Mexican food. Good for breakfast or lunch. We recommend you try a cantelope ginger & lemon smoothie, their special Mexican cinnamon coffee or fantastic Tortilla soup.

Modern comfort food southern influenced, seasonal menu, good for veggie or carnivore. Used to be one of our favorite date spots with

More Sleeps
The Artists' Inn

This 1895 Victorian home has elegantly been decorated so that each room is themed after an artist or period in art history. Surround yourself with the colors of the expressionist or step into the quaint world of Norman Rockwell... The location is convenient to wedding and quite South Pasadena.

Hama sushi

Los Angeles, CA 90012

They have Sushi, Sashimi, Miso soup, Sea Weed Salad, and that's pretty much all of it. But the fish is really fresh and really good. The place is tiny as well so not good for big groups.

Tacos villa corona
3185 Glendale Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90039
(323) 661-3458
The best burrito in LA hands down, probably one of the cheapest too.  We can’t go to LA without ending up here at least once. Tiny family keeps it going, Limited seating. We Love TVC!

Los Angeles, CA 90019
(323) 857-0666

or Century Spa
Neighborhood: Mid Wilshire
4120 W Olympic Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90019
(323) 954-1020
Korean Spa and bathhouse
I think the men can go too, but do check, as I have only been to the women’s portion of the spa.
Get naked (don't be scared, its just you and a bunch of older Korean women that could care less what your body looks like) Try the Mugwort Bath or the Eucalyptus steam room.  I usually get their all inclusive package, a bargain for 3 hours of spa treatments.

In and Out Burger
Locations all over LA area
Fast food done right, everything is made after you order, like French Fries you see them peel and cut. Family owned,
Only 4 things on the menu, the rest you just have to be in the know like “animal style” fries or burgers (grilled onions smothered in melted cheese), the grilled cheese, or “protein style” burger (wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun) Want a challenge? Order an 8x8 animal style. But you might need to share.

Happy Hour
El Conquistador
Neighborhood: Silver Lake
3701 W Sunset Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90026
(323) 666-5136
www.elconquistadorrestaurant.comGay Mexican restaurant, food is just alright but go upstairs to the bar during happy hour for margaritas and happy hour snacks but be warned they are strong. They will bring you a complementary plate of cheesy naughty treats to keep the margaritas from leaving you stumbling down the street trying to catch a cab in LA (won’t happen)

Pho Café
Neighborhood: silverlake
(213) 413-0888
2841 W Sunset Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90026
This fast fresh and cheap treat is super good Vietnamese food with fantastic vegetarian options. Go with a friend and share an order of the Spring roll, Vietnamese crepe, and a Pho. Never disappointing.
